Frequently Asked Questions
I get an error when trying to save my challenge, what happened?
It means your connection to the creator platform has timed out. You will need to refresh the page & log in again to resume editing your challenge, and you will lose your latest changes. To avoid this, make sure you hit “save” regularly.
Once I save my challenge, will it be immediately available on the app?
No, your challenge needs to be linked to the app first.
Fill out the form here: https://bit.ly/3FQZUpJ to let our team know your challenge is ready to go - we will implement it, and notify you via email know once it’s done.
What is the “trigger radius” of a checkpoint? Can I change it?
The trigger radius is the perimeter in which the user should be to collect a checkpoint (standard/boost), or launch the action related to the checkpoint (Multiple Choice/Physical Challenge).
If two of your checkpoints are too close to one another and their radiuses overlap, you can reduce the radius slightly. Due to GPS accuracy, a very small radius might make the checkpoint harder to trigger.
How close/far should my checkpoints be from one another?
Each checkpoint should be placed at least 50m away from the others, to avoid multiple checkpoints getting triggered at once.
What is a “locked checkpoint”? How can I use it?
Locked checkpoints are visible at the start of the challenge, but need to be unlocked (through a specific action) before the user can collect them. You can set up actions in the parameters of a checkpoint.
What is a “hidden checkpoint”? How can I use it?
Locked checkpoints are not visible at the start of the challenge, and need to be unlocked before the user can see them on the map and collect them. You can set up actions in the parameters of a checkpoint.
How can I add a video/image to a Physical Challenge Checkpoint?
You can add a visual or video to a physical challenge checkpoint by adding a URL to the “Image URL” or “Video URL” field. Your asset needs to be hosted online (and have a dedicated URL) to appear.
